Job Description

The Performance & Reporting Lead is responsible for leading the development, integration, and delivery of programme-wide performance reporting across the programme. Operating within the PMO, the role ensures that schedule, cost, risk, and delivery data are consolidated into accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that enables effective governance and decision-making. The role holder establishes a single source of truth for programme performance, ensuring consistency across delivery partners while transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Principal Accountabilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of integrated programme reporting, ensuring all performance data is brought together into a clear and cohesive view.

Establish and maintain a single, trusted source of truth for programme performance, ensuring consistency across schedule, cost, risk, and delivery data.

Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support effective decision-making at Programme Board and Executive level.

Define and manage reporting cycles, timelines, frameworks, and standards to ensure all outputs are consistent, high-quality, and governance-compliant.

Drive the adoption of standard KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring alignment and clarity across all projects and delivery partners.

Lead the development of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI), ensuring outputs are accessible, interactive, and tailored to stakeholder needs.

Provide forward-looking insights by identifying trends, emerging risks, and early warning indicators, enabling proactive management and escalation.

Act as the central point of contact for programme performance reporting, collaborating with senior leadership, delivery teams, and control functions to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

Experience and Skills

Extensive PMO and reporting experience in large programmes

Experience with infrastructure programmes preferred

Strong analytical and Power BI skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Qualifications

Degree in relevant discipline

PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent preferred
