What You'll Be Doing:

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner to help keep our John Deere dealership clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and employees. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the entire facility—including customer areas, offices, and employee/common spaces—and for communicating any building or maintenance concerns to the Branch Manager.

Responsibiliites:

You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the entire building and key dealership areas, including (but not limited to):

Daily / Routine Cleaning

Maintain cleanliness across the dealership (customer-facing and staff areas).

Dust and wipe office furniture, printers, and other office equipment.

Keep meeting rooms, kitchen/lunchroom areas, and common spaces tidy and clean.

Clean and restock washrooms (soap, paper products, etc.) as required.

Vacuum carpets; sweep and wash/mop floors as required.

Remove garbage/recycling and keep disposal areas neat (as applicable).

Detail Cleaning / Periodic Tasks

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.

Support seasonal/periodic cleaning tasks (e.g., entryway upkeep during wet/snowy conditions, deeper cleans, etc.).

Communication & Facility Awareness

Notify the Store Manager (or designate) of any building issues, supply shortages, damage, or safety concerns observed while cleaning.

Safety & Professional Standards

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately (including modern cleaning equipment).

Work in a way that is mindful of a dealership environment (customers on site, staff working in offices/meeting rooms, etc.).

Qualifications:

Familiar with operation of modern cleaning equipment.

Able to work independently with little supervision.

Flexible to work varying hours as required.

Previous janitorial/cleaning experience is an asset.

Compensation

Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range.

Sales positions will have a commission component as well.

Salary Range: CAD $18.00 - CAD $22.00 /Hr.
