Job Title : Senior Software Engineer

Location : - Bangalore

Business & Team: - Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service. CommBank is recognised as leading the industry in IT and operations with its world-class platforms and processes, agile IT infrastructure, and innovation in everything from payments to internet banking and mobile apps.

Impact & contribution: - You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.

Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.

Implement features following the guidance of senior members of the team.

Provide technical assistance to non-technical members of the team.

Exhibit problem-solving mindset with focus on test automation

Work well with different team members whilst practicing knowledge sharing and T-shaping

Learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within own team

Take ownership of initiatives and assets and follow up to provide highest quality of customer service

Essential Skills:-

8+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer Development

.Net

React OR NextJS - this includes standard HTML/CSS and good practices like accessibility

Testing - unit, integration. acceptance, automation/manual

Good engineering practice

Willingness to be on-call for 24/7 support

Full cycle engineering practices

Standard processes/tooling - Git, CICD/GHA, some logging mechanism (e.g. Splunk/Observe), some why of measuring metrics, cloud/AWS, architecture design

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
