Position Summary
True Path Sourcing (TPS) is seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to serve as a strategic partner for our employer groups, brokers, consultants, and healthcare partners. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, ensuring successful program implementation, driving client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to the value TPS delivers through pharmacy cost-containment solutions, international sourcing programs, GLP-1 management solutions, and member advocacy services.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry and have a proven track record of managing complex client relationships in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)Education
Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience
5-7 years of experience within a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environment required.
Minimum of 3 years of direct client-facing account management experience.
Experience managing employer groups, health plans, consultants, brokers, or healthcare clients.
Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy benefits, formulary management, specialty pharmacy, rebate programs, and healthcare cost-containment strategies.
Travel
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, benefit fairs, conferences, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
Ensure client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Account Growth & Strategy
Identify opportunities to TPS programs and services within existing accounts.
Collaborate with Sales and Executive Leadership on renewal strategies and growth initiatives.
Assist clients in maximizing savings opportunities through TPS solutions.
Implementation & Operational Support
Partner with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and program launches.
Coordinate implementation timelines and project deliverables.
Monitor account performance and proactively address operational concerns.
Reporting & Analytics
Present utilization, savings, and performance reports to clients.
Analyze program results and provide strategic recommendations.
Prepare executive-level presentations and quarterly business reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Client Concierge, Procurement, Clinical, and Executive teams.
Support benefit fairs, open enrollment activities, and client educational events.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of PBM operations and pharmacy benefit strategies.
Exceptional client relationship management skills.
Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience presenting to executive-level audiences.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting self-funded employer groups.
Knowledge of international pharmacy sourcing programs.
Experience with GLP-1 management programs and specialty pharmacy solutions.
Experience working with healthcare consultants and brokers.
CRM experience (Salesforce or similar platform).

Compensation: Competitive salary plus annual bonus opportunity based on performance.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
