Website designer and social media manager

Duties

Design, develop, and maintain engaging websites using web design, front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.

Implement responsive web design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.

Create compelling visual content including logos, motion graphics, wireframes, prototypes, and layouts utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.

Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure, metadata, and site performance analysis using tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics.

Manage social media accounts by developing content calendars, crafting engaging posts, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine strategies.

Develop multimedia content such as videos with Adobe After Effects or Animate to enhance social media campaigns.

Conduct user research and usability testing to improve website accessibility (Web accessibility standards) and overall user experience (UX).

Monitor website performance through analytics tools; generate reports to inform ongoing improvements in design and functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital marketing initiatives including email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms.

Maintain website security and perform regular updates to ensure optimal performance and security standards are met.

Skills

Strong proficiency in digital design, interaction design, motion graphics, UI/UX principles, wireframing (Balsamiq, Axure), and layout design.

Expertise in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with PHP, Python, SQL databases (MySQL), and front-end frameworks like Angular or React.

Skilled in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; experience with Adobe XD or Figma for prototyping.

Knowledge of SEO best practices combined with data analysis skills using Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics for performance tracking.

Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; experience with website maintenance and updates.

Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), usability testing methods, and information architecture principles.

Experience with digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp for email campaigns; knowledge of social media platforms’ algorithms and engagement strategies.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment using version control systems like Git; familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

Strong communication skills to translate complex concepts into clear visual narratives; excellent project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
