Your Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, scaling, and maintaining a modern cloud-native infrastructure. You'll work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance across a multi-region environment.

This role requires strong ownership, problem-solving, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, production-critical environment. You will:

Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for high availability and fault tolerance.

Provision, maintain, and upgrade AWS services including RDS, networking, compute, and storage components.

Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.

Oversee and maintain GitLab infrastructure and engineering workflows.

Collaborate with security and legal teams to support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).

Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and other observability platforms.

Implement strong alerting, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis, ensuring long-term fixes are implemented.

Participate in architecture design, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.

Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure standards.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing DevOps culture.

✅ What You'll Need:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

Strong experience with AWS, especially in multi-region environments.

Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability systems.

Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps platforms.

Knowledge of IAM, VPC design, networking, and cloud security best practices.

Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle production incidents.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to Have:

Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto environments

Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps)

Understanding of blockchain or digital assets

What We Offer:

Monthly compensation in USD: Competitive based on experience (LATAM-focused range).

Full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
