About the role
Location: Dallas, TX Reports to: Marketing Manager
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and creative Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing activities for a Managed Service Provider in Dallas, TX. This role will help execute events, maintain service and sales collateral, manage social media channels, support SEO and advertising initiatives, and draft press releases that strengthen brand visibility, generate demand, and support growth across managed fiber networks and related technology services.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate marketing events, webinars, partner activities, customer meetings, and trade shows, including logistics, invitations, materials, and follow-up.
Maintain and update marketing collateral such as service one-pagers, solution briefs, presentations, case studies, proposals support materials, and digital assets to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
Manage day-to-day activity across social media channels, including content scheduling, community engagement, and promotion of thought leadership, customer success stories, service updates, and events.
Support SEO efforts by helping optimize website and landing page content while monitoring keyword performance and coordinating updates.
Assist with advertising campaigns across digital channels, including paid social, search, display, email, and partner co-marketing initiatives, with support for creative coordination, copy updates, campaign setup, and tracking.
Draft and distribute press releases and other external communications related to company announcements, partnerships, service launches, customer wins, events, and market activity.
Track campaign, website, and channel performance metrics and help prepare regular reports, lead summaries, and recommendations for the marketing and sales teams.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, sales teams, technical subject matter experts, designers, vendors, media contacts, and technology partners to keep projects on schedule.
Maintain marketing calendars, prospect and media contact lists, campaign assets, and shared resources to support efficient execution and lead generation activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of marketing, communications, or administrative support experience, ideally in B2B, technology, telecom, or managed services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear marketing copy, service messaging, and press releases.
Experience managing social media platforms and familiarity with content scheduling tools.
Working knowledge of SEO principles, website content updates, digital advertising concepts, and lead generation tactics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across campaigns, events, and sales support activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, email marketing, analytics, CMS, or design tools is a plus.
Comfortable learning technical concepts and translating them into clear, compelling marketing content for business audiences.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $38,000-$44,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
