JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Programs, the Program Supervisor III (PS III) leads the districtwide implementation of Think Together’s specialized Programs (e.g. High Dosage Tutoring, Accelerators, Yard Duty Supervision, Interventionists, etc.). This role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient program operations aligned with organizational policies, funding requirements, and district expectations.

The PS III oversees all aspects of program operations, partner success, staff accountability, site leader development, and program budgets for the district-wide contract. The PS III serves as the primary liaison to district leaders, donors, and key stakeholders. The role demands a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can work flexible hours including before/after school, weekends, and during school breaks (summer, winter, and non-instructional days).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership

Lead and manage specialized program implementation across 8–20 school sites.

Supervise 50–100 staff members (direct and indirect reports), providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability to ensure program excellence.

Hold all layers of staff accountable for high quality program delivery.

Work collaboratively with internal departments to mobilize necessary resources such as staffing, compliance, and training needs.

Develop, coach, and hold direct reports accountable to their individual and team goals.

Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Lead specialized program staff development strategy, ensure implementation of coaching systems, and manage site leadership performance.

Own compliance strategy and ensure all contractual obligations and safety standards are consistently met.

Set program vision and ensure strategic execution of specialty programs across a district.

Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all levels of specialized program staff.

Conduct regular site visits (minimum 85% of work time) to assess quality, provide coaching, and ensure fidelity to program model.

Hire, train, evaluate, discipline, and terminate site staff.

Oversee compliance with all programs, district, and funding requirements.

Monitor budgets and ensure proper allocation of resources.

Align program implementation with Think Together’s organizational and regional goals by actively participating in regional HUB and cross-departmental collaborations.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet staffing needs efficiently and transparently communicate updates to stakeholders.

Escalate any risk to contract performance or partner satisfaction to the Executive Director immediately.

Partner Success

Lead partner success strategy, district-level partnership, and contract compliance for all specialized programs in the district

Represent Think Together in district meetings, strategic planning sessions, and partnership development conversations

Responsible for contract retention, district satisfaction, revenue realization, and program success

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with district leaders, school administrators, and other key stakeholders

Meet with district liaison monthly along with Executive Director to ensure alignment with district priorities.

Check in with principals regularly to assess satisfaction and correct any issues.

Collaborate with district leaders to ensure alignment with school-day priorities, PBIS frameworks, and LCAP goals

Ensure high levels of partner satisfaction, measured by survey scores and contract renewals

Meet regularly with district liaison to review progress, strategize, and ensure full contract execution and revenue realization

Provide timely communication to school principals and district partners regarding staffing, incidents, and program updates

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) highly preferred

Combination of education and experience related to position, with increasing responsibility, which may include however, not limited to:

5+ years of experience working in education/youth programs.

At least 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership position is required and 3+ years highly preferred.

AA or vocational certificate related to the position.

Previous classroom experience required. Must meet the minimum qualifications set by the partner district for a classroom instructional aide.

Strong ability to communicate with students, parents, school staff and faculty both verbally and in writing.

Bilingual / Bi-cultural (Spanish) may apply in some district.

Excellent program management skills, including demonstrated record of completing tasks on time.

CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within first 60 days of hire.

Satisfactory TB skin test.

Passing background check (DOJ & FBI).

Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written and demonstrate sensitivity to target audience.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Comfortable with public speaking and providing direction.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal primarily within a set of identified variables. At times, may navigate outside set of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Performs other related duties as assigned. (including but not limited to, stepping in to perform other staff responsibilities as needed).

Compensation: $75,000 Annually
