The University of Arizona Athletics Department invites you to apply to the role of the Analyst, Baseball - Hitting and Recruiting. The Analyst, Baseball - Hitting and Recruiting will be working under the direction of the Head Coach, Baseball to ensure all program goals and needs are met.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in all data collection and dissemination of information to coaches and players.

Assist with practice plan preparation as well as offensive and defensive game planning.

Assist with hitting instruction and daily prep work of players.

Create and maintain comprehensive recruiting board and scheduling of coaches to see prospective student athletes.

Assist with all on campus recruiting visits.

Budget accountability.

Addiitonal duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Skilled in evaluating players’ ability to succeed at Big 12 caliber school.

Knowledge of position related NCAA, Big 12, and University of Arizona rules and compliance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.

Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Foster a collaborative work environment through respectful and effective communication.

Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Experience in college or professional baseball.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in recruiting and evaluating college and high school level baseball players.

Experience with coaching.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.
