We are currently looking for a full-time Staffing Scheduler, who is also a CNA, to work within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community at The Wesleyan. An active CNA certification in the state of Texas and experience as a CNA or caregiver in an assisted living or memory care community along with clinical scheduling experience, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, and a servant-minded approach to caring for others is absolutely essential to your success as a Staffing Scheduler at The Wesleyan.

The schedule for this position is 10:00AM-6:00PM, Monday through Friday
Essential Job Functions:
Notify appropriate personnel of call-ins and responsible for securing coverage for all shifts.
Maintain accurate attendance records and notifies management of attendance-related issues; participates in progressive disciplinary action process as needed.
Obtain daily team members staffing requests, review for accommodation and fill them efficiently as needed.
Monitor and control overtime, and monitor, record and address attendance of team members.
Work with the supervisors, Human Resources and Payroll to verify payroll accuracy.
Coordinate and assist with all interviews.
Must work as a CNA to fill open shifts or as needed
Perform all Nursing Aide procedures as directed in accordance with job description and instructions from Charge Nurse.
Complete other job tasks as assigned by the Wellness Director and/or Administrator.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must possess current, active Nurse Aide Certificate from Texas Department of Health and must keep Certificate current.
A minimum of 1 year healthcare experience preferably in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, and or Skilled Nursing community.
Must have high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to read and write English with clarity sufficient to communicate with residents and teammates, follow instructions, identify materials from their labels and understand their directions for use.
Must have a service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
A passion for working within a senior living community and within an Assisted Living and Memory Care community is essential.
