Aon is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition, Americas to lead and evolve our talent acquisition strategy across North America and Latin America. This role is critical in enabling business growth through the attraction of high-impact, strategic talent, while continuing to transform our operating model to deliver at scale.
Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and working in close partnership with the North America Chief People Officer, North America People Partners and NA Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy across the Americas.
You will also directly lead the Head of Talent Acquisition, LATAM, ensuring alignment across regional strategies while tailoring delivery to market needs.
You will play a central role in positioning Talent Acquisition as a strategic growth driver—directly impacting revenue through the hiring of senior, revenue-generating and capability-building talent.

What will your day look like?
Build and deliver the Americas Talent Acquisition strategy, aligned to business growth priorities and future capability needs
Function as a dependable guide to the NA Chief People Officer and NAELT, impacting decisions by providing data, market insight, and talent expertise
Lead recruitment of senior, revenue-essential and strategic professionals, directly supporting business performance, growth and client impact
Lead and develop the Americas TA operating model, ensuring scalability, efficiency and alignment to Aon United principles
Deliver direction across the region, maintaining direct supervision of LATAM TA and harmonizing efforts across all Americas markets
Partner with business leaders to anticipate talent needs, building pipelines for critical and emerging skills
Embed a high-performance, commercially focused TA function, with clear accountability to business outcomes and hiring impact
Champion data-driven decision making, bringing to bear analytics, market intelligence and pipeline insights to build hiring strategy
Drive innovation across sourcing, assessment and candidate experience, in partnership with global centers of excellence
Embed inclusive hiring practices across all processes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and broad representation
Enable adoption of technology and AI-enabled hiring solutions, improving speed, quality and candidate outcomes
Build and lead high-performing teams, encouraging capability, engagement and leadership across the region
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Strong executive presence with the ability to persuade senior leaders and function at ExCo level
Significant experience leading Talent Acquisition in a large, complex, global organization
Demonstrated ability to link talent strategy to commercial outcomes, including revenue growth and capability build
Strong knowledge of the Americas market, able to maintain regional uniformity while acknowledging local distinctions
Experience leading through transformation, including evolving operating models and embedding new ways of working
Strong data focus, with the ability to convert insight into action
Proven track record of hiring and advising on senior and executive talent
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing competing priorities
Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and bringing to bear technology in hiring
Inclusive leader who builds high-performing teams with varied backgrounds
Excellent communication and collaborator management skills

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $180,000 - $210,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
