Job Summary:
El Carmen Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Production Control Intern to support the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of production activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, contributing to efficient production flows and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of production schedules and plans.
Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
Support the tracking and reporting of key production metrics.
Collaborate with various departments, including production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in inventory control activities, including material tracking and reconciliation.
Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production efficiency.
Prepare and update production documentation and reports.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Control team.
Required Skills and Education
Job Qualifications:**
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prior experience or coursework in production planning or inventory management is a plus.
Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
