About the role

What are we looking for

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across UI and backend components, with a focus on building scalable, high-quality platform solutions as part of our UI Framework team.

Our Platform Engineering organization is innovating and transforming our platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, AKS, React, etc. The UI Framework team is an integral part of this strategic modernization.

Responsibilities:

Lead complex full-stack design, development, architectural and implementation decisions – ensuring performant, high quality and scalable software delivery

Manage, mentor and coach engineers through hands-on guidance, design reviews, and operational practices.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create simple and sustainable software architectures and solutions for complex problems

Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for escalated issues.

Review code and ensure adherence to architectural and coding standards.

Drive continuous improvement in team development practices.

Ensure delivery of high-quality software via test automation; assisting with manual testing as required.

Engage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

Collaborate with global teams on platform initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Recommended Experience:

7+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong experience with React and Java; C# experience a bonus.

Experience designing distributed systems.

Experience leveraging AI tools as part of routine development and work activities

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience in financial services is a plus.
