Customer Service Coordinator – Molasses

Oakey, QLD (near Toowoomba)

Bundaberg Molasses, part of the Bundaberg Sugar Group, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join our small and close-knit team based in Oakey.

This is a full-time position and a rare opportunity to join a well-established operation in a role that seldom becomes available.

Working closely with the Production Manager and broader Sales and Marketing team, this position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth coordination of customer service, administration, sales processing and inventory activities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and has strong organisational and administrative skills.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

Processing and recording:

Sales orders

Invoices

Spot sale bookings

Rebates

Customer contracts

Account enquiries

Customer loading points

Weekly production figures

Bill of materials for new products

Processing freight transactions and maintaining freight rates

Purchasing and receiving products and goods

Processing external molasses purchases

Maintaining product pricing and price lists

Maintaining creditor details

Inventory control and stocktakes, including investigation of discrepancies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

Minimum two years' accounts receivable or administration experience within a similar environment

Experience using SAP, Pronto or similar ERP systems

Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

Current driver's licence

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

A proactive and motivated approach to work

Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a small team environment

A positive “can do” attitude and willingness to assist where required
