About the role

We are seeking a UI Developer to support the CDC program. This is a remote role for a mid-level professional with strong front-end SAP experience and hands-on development skills across modern UI frameworks and tools.

Position Summary

The UI Developer will design, build, and enhance user-facing applications supporting the CDC VTrckS environment. This role is focused on delivering scalable, maintainable SAP-based UI solutions and collaborating with technical teams to support development, integration, and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAP UI5

Build and enhance responsive, user-friendly applications aligned to business and technical requirements

Use VSCode for development, build, and troubleshooting activities

Support code development and productivity workflows using GitHub Copilot

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, functional leads, and stakeholders

Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment support

Document technical designs, development standards, and implementation details

Contribute to continuous improvement of UI architecture, development practices, and user experience

Requirements

7+ years of experience in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development

Strong hands-on experience with VSCode for development and build activities

Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot to support development and build workflows

Strong knowledge of front-end development best practices, debugging, and application support

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Experience with OData

Experience with CDS build/development

Prior experience supporting federal or public sector environments

Familiarity with SAP integrations and enterprise application support
