Junior Developer

We are looking for a full stack developer to work on our team full time. As a small team of developers, we prioritize candidates able to communicate clearly and work well with others. Our work consists primarily of web development on a software suite used by governmental organizations in the United States and abroad. Candidates should expect the ability to work independently on a wide range of technical projects with limited supervision.

This role is expected to pass a security background check, as we work extensively with governmental organizations.

This position is fully remote, and the candidate must have a proven ability to work independently with little supervision. After learning about our software suite, the employee will be required to complete tasks designated by the project manager in the time allotted with the quality expected. A dedication to testing and precision is required, and a love of solving unique and complex puzzles will be key to your success with our company.

Given the sensitive nature of the industry our software serves, our customers have a hard requirement that we do not use any AI.

Preferred Backend Experience

· Strong working knowledge of Python development

· Experience with Django or similar web framework and the creation of API endpoints

· Understanding of Database structure, hierarchy, and schema development

Preferred Front End Experience

· HTML

· Javascript

· CSS

· React

· JQuery

Must be able to pass security background checks

Knowledge of

· Git Systems, preferably Gitlab

· Amazon Web Services - EC2 instances and RDS database

· Experience working in a Linux, Nginx, Apache, and other deployment environments

· Postgres, MySQL, OracleDB, MsSQL
