Your Team's Impact

The NoSQL team manages the infrastructure, deployment, and lifecycle of enterprise NoSQL and data platforms, including provisioning, updates, patching, and troubleshooting. We collaborate with data stakeholders to configure, monitor, and resolve issues across a diverse portfolio of technologies (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Weaviate, Dremio, Redis, Valkey, DocumentDB, MSK, Zookeeper, Snowflake, and others). The team owns the operational excellence and reliability of these distributed systems from deployment through production support.

You'll join an international platform engineering team where hands-on problem-solving is valued over process overhead. We expect you to dig into problems, learn our systems deeply, and take initiative—not wait for detailed specifications.

What You'll Do

We're looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to join our international platform team. You'll take ownership of architecting, deploying, and maintaining our caching infrastructure within our Kubernetes ecosystem. This is a mid-level position where you'll work across distributed teams spanning USA and India time zones, collaborating on infrastructure automation and reliability improvements.

Design & Deploy Caching Systems : Architect and implement caching solutions (Redis, Memcached, etc.) optimized for our Kubernetes clusters, balancing performance, cost, and reliability.

Infrastructure as Code : Build and maintain Terraform and Ansible playbooks for provisioning, updating, and scaling caching infrastructure.

Day-2 Operations : Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize caching layer performance; respond to incidents and implement preventative measures.

Kubernetes Integration : Develop Kubernetes manifests, operators, and controllers for deploying and managing caching workloads; tune resource requests and limits.

Automation : Create runbooks and automation scripts to reduce manual toil; improve deployment velocity and observability.

On-Call Support : Participate in on-call rotation to respond to infrastructure incidents and maintain system reliability.

Collaboration : Partner with platform, infrastructure, and application teams across time zones to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Hands-on : You debug issues directly, write code, and prefer building over managing.

Systems thinker : You understand failure modes and design for resilience

Communicator : You document decisions and explain trade-offs clearly across distributed teams.

Pragmatic : You balance perfectionism with shipping solutions that work

Reliable : You're comfortable being on-call and responding to production incidents.

What We're Looking For

Platform Engineer - Caching Systems

5+ years of experience in platform engineering or infrastructure experience.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (operators, deployments, networking, storage)

Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible — you write IaC confidently and daily

Production experience architecting or maintaining caching systems at scale

Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (consistency, replication, failover)

Experience deploying and managing cloud resources, preferably AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS, S3, VPC, IAM)

Available for on-call rotation (on-call responsibilities shared across the team)

Comfort working across USA and India overlapping business hours with async-first communication

Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues with observability tools

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Familiarity with Crossplane for infrastructure automation and cloud resource management

Coralogix (or similar SaaS observability platforms) experience

Multi-cloud experience (GCP, Azure, or others)

OpenShift or managed Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE, AKS)

Go or Python scripting for infrastructure automation

GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)

Helm chart development
