About the role
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our E-Trading application development team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and enhancing Web UI modules for our in-house FX Ecommerce platform.
You will work closely with back-end developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, user-friendly interfaces that support the Technology function in the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
Collaborate closely with back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions on the Web UI.
Participate in peer code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional features.
Handle code deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement of the build and deployment processes.
Optionally, present system demos to business users to showcase features and gather feedback.
Key Requirements
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
Familiarity with agent-based coding assistant tools is a plus.
Experience or familiarity with RESTful API development using Java or similar frameworks is a plus.
Comfortable using tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and Confluence.
Understanding of UI component libraries and design systems like Material UI and Ant Design.
Knowledge of Node.js, npm, Webpack, Vite and other front-end build tools.
Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Financial domain experience is optional, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
