Overview: The Pre-Sales Leader DACH is responsible for efficiently delivering all relevant requested proposals in terms of time, budget, and quality—in accordance with the requirements of customers and partners. He is responsible for managing the relevant processes, procedures, and tools of the proposal phase for the entire portfolio, as well as the necessary third-party solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Pre-Sales Direct unit for DACH
Responsibility for the cost-effective preparation of proposals for the entire Mitel portfolio
Ensure optimized resource allocation in the proposal process to support sales in achieving business goals for order intake, revenue, and costs using the global pre-sales environment
Point of contact for escalations and prioritization of proposal projects at the management level
Responsibility for the process-compliant handling of proposals with a focus on technical architecture and solutions
Development of budget plans; ensuring agreed-upon goals and functionalities through continuous target-actual comparisons and, if necessary, initiating appropriate measures
Providing technical and disciplinary leadership and motivating directly assigned managers and employees
Managing the assigned workforce and associated skills
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, IT management, or a comparable degree, with several years of professional experience in sales and proposal support for ICT projects (preferably large-scale projects)
Comprehensive knowledge of the portfolio and business processes for the information and communication industry
Experience in implementing and optimizing business processes as well as in related reporting
Knowledge of internal profit structures, value streams, and budget planning
Strong results orientation, analytical approach, and strategic thinking
Several years of leadership experience in different ICT-Companies
Excellent communication skills at all management and team levels, as well as when interacting with partners and customers
