About the role
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our North American HR operations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing HR strategy across the region, covering full spectrum HR functions including recruiting, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and compliance. You will lead a local HR team (Generalists, Recruiters, etc.) and report in a matrix structure to both North American executives and China headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive HR strategy implementation for North America, ensuring alignment with business goals and local regulatory requirements
Lead and develop a local HR team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Bridge cross-cultural communication between Chinese headquarters and U.S. local teams; build and refine HR systems that comply with local laws while meeting corporate governance standards
Partner with business leaders on strategic planning, supporting key initiatives such as new production line launches, rapid workforce expansion, and other high-priority projects
What We Are Looking For:
Currently residing in the U.S. with legal work authorization (Green Card, U.S. citizen, or valid work visa accepted)
Prior experience as an HR Manager or HRBP in a Chinese-owned manufacturing company operating in the U.S., with a deep understanding of Chinese corporate management culture and decision-making processes
Proven experience managing cross-cultural teams, effectively bridging communication between local employees and Chinese management
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (both verbal and written document handling)
Proficiency in major HCM systems (SAP, ADP, Workday, or similar is a plus)
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
