Western Smokehouse Partners is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with senior HR management in supporting the facility. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits administration, and HRIS management.

Essential Functions:

Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.

Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave

Handle employee relations counseling, investigations, and exit interviewing.

Assist in performance management and improvement processes, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.

Maintain HRIS records and compile reports as needed.

Assists operations in conflict resolution and disciplinary matters and leads associated investigations

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field preferred

Minimum of 5-year HR experience required

Successful interaction with many different departments and people in the facility

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with members across the organization

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines

Compensation
