We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Operations – Production Control & Planning to lead daily operational planning and execution at our Henderson Distribution Center. In this role, you will orchestrate workflow, staffing alignment, and production control to consistently deliver customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while maintaining high standards for safety, cost efficiency, quality, and workforce performance. You will serve as a critical coordination point between Operations, Planning, Technology, Finance, HR, and Customer teams to drive operational excellence and support business objectives.

About the Job
Lead daily production control and planning for the Henderson Distribution Center, overseeing workflow execution and coordination of customer order volumes into the facility
Ensure planning activities align workload with staffing levels to optimize flow and consistently meet or exceed customer SLAs, Distribution Center Cost per Unit (CPU), and Units per Hour (UPH) targets
Publish and clearly communicate daily operational changes, special requirements, and priorities to all shifts
Partner with Technical Services and Business Technology teams to schedule downtime for preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and operational modifications
Collaborate with Finance and Network Strategy to align forecast assumptions with financial planning and reporting requirements; develop and communicate adjusted operational plans based on guidance
Lead weekly demand planning reviews to communicate staffing and schedule adjustments and ensure operational readiness
Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into demand assumptions, operational risks, and scenario-based tradeoffs
Engage HR leadership to assess and advise on staffing plans or changes that may impact the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
Maintain daily engagement with Customer and Logistics Service teams to assess available work, customer requirements, and service opportunities
Communicate customer-facing concerns and risks to the Distribution Center Director and support corrective actions to close performance gaps
Escalate transportation, routing, or outbound shipment issues as needed to minimize service disruptions
Own the daily KPI dashboard, ensuring accurate, timely reporting for both Distribution Center and Network visibility
Ensure performance and quality metrics are accurately captured, validated, and communicated daily to leadership and operations teams
Coordinate and compile data for the Distribution Center Monthly Business Review (MBR)
Develop and maintain robust staffing plans for Ecommerce inbound and outbound operations to ensure year-round SLA adherence
Coordinate with site Operations leadership to facilitate labor sharing across Ecommerce and DC operations when required
Partner with Distribution Center and Ecommerce teams to resolve inbound supply gaps and execution challenges
Serve as the Henderson DC Operations Project Subject Matter Expert, providing technical and process input for key initiatives and identifying team members to support implementation and change adoption
Lead chargeback reduction initiatives for the Henderson Distribution Center
Support and execute change management strategies to ensure adoption of new processes, systems, and operational improvements

Management Responsibilities
Hire, lead, and develop team members through effective recruitment, performance management, and ongoing professional development
Mentor and coach supervisors and operations managers, building leadership capability, accountability, and a strong performance-driven culture
Build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, promoting collaboration and alignment across functions
About You
10+ years of progressive distribution center experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a medium to large facility
Proven experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and wholesale fulfillment environments with fluctuating volumes
Experience leading operations within a unionized workforce strongly preferred
Strong understanding of distribution financials and cost measurements, including direct and indirect labor, fixed and variable expenses, CPU, UPH, and related metrics
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supporting technologies
Solid understanding of distribution flow, systems integration, and automation
Demonstrated ability to establish executable plans, including contingency and scenario planning
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold large teams accountable for operational results
Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to quickly assess complex situations and develop practical solutions
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders with competing priorities

Physical Requirements
Extended periods of administrative work, meetings, and computer use
Frequent presence on the operational floor, including prolonged walking and standing
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
