Overview:
Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced program manager in our Frisco office!
Responsibilities:
Facilitate client communications such as proposals, letters, contracts, transmittals, etc.
Interface with clients regarding project expectations as it relates to scheduling and permitting processes
Develop work plans, track progress and deliverable documents, as well as provide status updates to PMs; prepare weekly trackers or job status communications for clients
Plan and facilitate project meetings to align the project team with methods and goals as well as to track project tasks
Coordinate project submittals to various jurisdictional agencies, cities, utilities, etc.
Create, proofread, edit, format, and finalize project-related documents
Support the program management processes of integration, scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risk
Responsibilities may also include researching local project permitting requirements, advising clients on strategic approach to permitting and approvals, coordinating project permitting submittals, and engagement with agency personnel to expedite permitting agency approvals
As the role progresses this individual will be expected to take on additional project management responsibilities, such as developing and managing task or project budgets
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
8+ years of experience
Positive, client service-oriented attitude
Proactive, self-motivated
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to take initiative with tasks and projects
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and respond to multiple project managers
Capable of managing and balancing multiple tasks/priorities and performing well under deadline pressure
Ability to work well with various types of people and in a team environment
Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional
