About the role
WHO WE ARE
At Castle Rock, our mission is to help transportation agencies capture, share, and spread travel knowledge about what’s happening on the roadways through our websites, phone systems, mobile apps, and social media integrations. We are an established, successful company with long-standing clients and a proven product.
We’re a 22-person firm headquartered in Portland, OR, with a positive and highly collaborative remote work environment. We value curiosity, creativity, hard work, and strong, healthy relationships — with each other and our clients. About 50% of our staff are Oregon-based; the other 50% are distributed across the country. We hold an annual in-person staff summit and regular online events to stay connected as a team.
Castle Rock is a certified Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
THE ROLE
The Project Manager is the connector at Castle Rock. You’ll bridge our Ops, Developer, and QA teams to deliver exceptional work for clients, while also serving as our frontline business analyst and relationship lead. You’ll live the Castle Rock culture, set the tone of every meeting, and be the person clients rely on to understand their needs and translate them into action.
This is not a purely administrative PM role — it’s part project manager, part business analyst, part client success, and part sales. You need to know what’s available out of the box in our systems, what’s included vs. what requires a scope, and how to align a client’s vision with Castle Rock’s mission and values.
WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for someone energetic, curious, and eager to grow. Technical savviness and experience delivering software products are ideal skills that we are looking for in the right candidate, but what matters most is attitude, communication, and commitment.
