Job Summary

The Operations Manager is the sole operational owner for Enterprise Operations Software Licensing, with primary accountability for key strategic partner royalty products. This role manages end‑to‑end operational execution, compliance, systems administration, and cross‑functional coordination to support global software licensing and royalty obligations. The position plays a critical role in ensuring HP’s compliance with licensing requirements and minimizing financial exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Financial Risk Management

Download, analyze, and reconcile two weekly Hardware Compliance Reports (HWCR and MHR) to ensure HP remains compliant with licensing and reporting rules.

Identify and address compliance gaps, understanding that non‑compliance results in financial penalties.

Software Licensing Operations

Create and maintain component part numbers for royalty‑bearing software in MS4 to support Software Marketing and Bill of Material (BOM) integration.

Load and maintain accurate royalty costs across MS4, iCost/CCS, and WWCOA systems.

Manage and maintain the software Digital Part Number catalog.

Co‑manage software royalty spreadsheets in partnership with the Contract Manager to ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and alignment with licensing agreements.

Systems & Data Management

Load and maintain metadata for Client and IoT/Embedded Operating Systems, Promotion Codes, Digital Attach Office, and Digital Attach offerings in WWCOA.

Load and maintain internal and manufacturing partner site setup within WWCOA and DOC (Digital Operations Center) systems.

Add or remove Client and IoT software products from HP licenses within the DOC system to enable site ordering.

Partner with HP IT to support integration testing, system enhancements, and resolution of WWCOA functionality or data issues.

Systems Administration & Partner Management

Act as HP, Inc. Company Administrator for DOC (Digital Operations Center) and DPC (Device Partner Center) systems.

Create user accounts and assign permissions for HP employees and external advertising agencies (DPC only).

Distribute daily DPC communications to internal HP teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve system, access, and data issues in collaboration with supplier IT, internal HP stakeholders, and external partners.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Experience supporting software licensing, royalties, compliance, or enterprise operations.

Strong working knowledge of enterprise systems, data management, and financial accuracy controls.

Proven ability to independently manage complex operational workflows and compliance‑driven processes.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with licensing programs, DOC, DPC, or WWCOA systems.

Experience supporting IoT/Embedded or client operating system licensing.

Prior experience as a system or company administrator for enterprise platforms.

Education & Experience Recommended

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
