About the role
Christensen Law (www.ccplawyers.com), a Salt Lake City law firm engaged primarily in family, general civil, and appellate practice, seeks to hire a full-time paralegal or legal assistant to join the team. Experience with family law experience may be given preference.
Pay is $15-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description/Expectations:
Work with attorneys to manage, track, calendar and plan progress of cases
Use templates and create draft filings
Finalize, proofread and file court papers
Coordinate scheduling of mediations, depositions, and hearings
Help compile discovery, disclosures and responses
Follow-up and communicate with clients as needed
Work with clients to prepare financial declarations and gather information
Maintain and organize case file
Assist with hearing and trial preparation
Coordinate with other staff on large projects
Track time spent on each matter
Strict adherence to confidentiality policy
Ability to follow SOP
Ideal Qualifications:
Previous experience with family law
Familiarity with court system, e-filing, computer skills, MS office
Great communication skills
Strong time management and efficiency skills
Ability to build a rapport with clients
Excellent understanding of deadlines and timeframes
Ability to work with clients to gather and review documents
Self-starter
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Wage: Pay range is $15-25 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

8 hours per workday, between 8 am and 6 pm.
