Insurance Defense Paralegal (Fort Lauderdale)
About the role
40-attorney Insurance Defense Litigation Firm is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated INSURANCE DEFENSE LITIGATION PARALEGAL with FL Litigation experience to join its FORT LAUDERDALE office (This is an "in office" position).
IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 4+ years experience as a BODILY INJURY OR FIRST PARTY PROPERTY INSURANCE DEFENSE PARALEGAL in FL.
SALARY: $70,000 to $80,000 (DOE)
DUTIES: issuing subpoenas, drafting responses to demand letters, reviewing and summarizing medical records to prepare medical records summaries / chronologies, drafting pleadings/motions, issuing and answering written discovery, e-filing, legal research, and helping attorneys as their lifeline when it comes to preparing for depos, mediations and trials. Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized and able to multi-task. Must be able to do billable hours.
Billable hour experience is also required.
