MEP BIM Coordinator / Revit & AutoCAD Designer (2+ yrs exp required)

Great opportunity and challenge to use your Revit MEP and AutoCAD skills for 3D drafting of mechanical and electrical systems including: HVAC, plumbing, power distribution system, generators, CCTV, fire alarm, medium voltage, roadway and interior lighting. You will work in a "never bored" environment on various and multiple facility types including office, retail, entertainment, aviation, hospitality, education, water/wastewater, etc.

BIM Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing a full range of Revit MEP design and drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout of substantial variety and complexity. Position requires coordination of drafting and design activities related to Autocadd, Revit MEP and BIM data. A great candidate will Demonstrate ability to exercise independent design decisions. Successfully correspond with clients or outside personnel

Administrative duties include:

Provide oversight on discipline BIM work-flow

Setup and direction of new BIM projects

Continued development of "best practices" for BIM

Research and develop BIM standards and processes

QA/QC - Revit model and design layouts

Oversee and/or manage model data to coordinate multiple disciplines

Support duties include: Revit design modeling

Oversee discipline content creation / model

Troubleshoot problems at both content and model levels

Integrate Revit MEP products with other applications

Train Technicians/Designer/Engineers specific to their modeling requirements

Management duties include:

Develop project specific implementation direction and guide project teams to ensure Revit success.

BIM project Kick-off meetings.

Evaluate staff and identify areas requiring further skill development.

Oversee implementation of new and updated standards.

Oversee and/or directly collaborate and communicate within Revit MEP Group to deliver and/or manage BIM data.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
