Medical Assistant / Patient Liaison

Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Sculpt MD Med Spa is a growing wellness and medical aesthetics practice specializing in hormone optimization, medical weight loss, regenerative medicine, sexual wellness, laser treatments, injectables, and advanced aesthetic services. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Assistant / Patient Liaison who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both patient care and patient engagement.

This is a hybrid role that combines traditional medical assisting responsibilities with front desk, patient coordination, sales, and customer service duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting providers clinically while also helping patients understand treatment options and guiding them through their wellness journey.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties

Assist providers during patient visits and procedures

Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies

Draw blood and perform phlebotomy as needed

Prepare and draw up injections under provider direction

Record patient information and assist with chart documentation

Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned and organized

Support physicians and providers throughout the day

Patient Liaison & Front Desk Duties

Greet and check patients in and out

Schedule appointments and manage calendars

Explain treatments, services, pricing, and packages to patients

Process payments and assist with patient financing options

Answer incoming calls, texts, and patient inquiries

Conduct patient follow-up calls and lead nurturing

Assist with patient retention and reactivation efforts

Maintain a professional and welcoming patient experience

Help open and prepare the clinic for daily operations

Administrative Duties

Utilize EMR systems for charting and patient management

Process transactions and invoices through QuickBooks

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Assist with operational and administrative tasks as needed

QualificationsRequired

Certified Medical Assistant (MA)

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience

Minimum 1 year of sales experience

Experience working in a med spa, wellness clinic, hormone clinic, weight loss clinic, or similar healthcare environment

Experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), wellness, medical weight loss, aesthetics, laser treatments, or related services

Proficiency with QuickBooks

Comfortable with phlebotomy and drawing blood

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)

Preferred

Experience with aesthetic procedures and treatments

Experience working with EMR systems

Knowledge of medical terminology

Experience with patient financing and treatment package sales
