Responsibilities
Support the daily operations of the Compliance Department.
Assist in monitoring client transactions and escalating potential issues as needed.
Help prepare reports required by regulators (e.g., SARs) under supervision.
Provide support in maintaining compliance-related programs such as Vendor Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, and BSA Training.
Research and gather information on relevant regulations to help keep internal teams informed.
Assist in collecting, organizing, and summarizing data for internal and external reporting.
Support the coordination and execution of compliance-related projects and initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery under the guidance of senior compliance leadership.
Drive assigned compliance initiatives and ensure timely execution of deliverables in coordination with senior leadership.
Participate in training sessions and stay updated on compliance regulations and industry practices.
Qualification/skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general digital literacy.
Prior internship or up to 2 years of experience in compliance, financial services, or a related area is a plus but not required.
Analytics: Advanced proficiency in applying analytical approaches to complex financial data (experience with SQL or advanced Excel is a plus).
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business advice.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and eagerness to learn
Additional Requirement
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications.
