About the role

Overview We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager for our sales team and automation team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue.

Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with upstream oil and gas operators and other qualified opportunities, producers, and service companies focused on automation, wellhead, and sand management needs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering, operations, and procurement teams.

Collaborate with the technical and project development teams to customize proposals, demonstrations, and pilots that address customer pain points (e.g., sand management, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction).

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Identify and pursue new clients, including oilfield service companies, operators, or government entities, through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.

Negotiate and establish partnerships, joint ventures, or alliances to enhance service offerings or market reach.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.

Ensure all business activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the oil and gas industry.

Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, or downstream operations and market dynamics.

Proven track record of securing high-value contracts and meeting revenue targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to navigate complex regulatory and environmental frameworks.

Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools.

Willingness to travel as needed (domestic and international).
