Route Delivery Driver (full time)

The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers.

What you will enjoy doing

You will be responsible to load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents

Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is part of your role

Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks

Further, you will complete shipping orders and related paperwork

Additionally, complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports

Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor

Also, you will identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and ensure maintenance or repairs are conducted with minimal disruption to the operation

What makes you great*

You have a minimum of two (2) years of truck driving experience with a G license

Your provincial Driver's License is valid, incident-free, and includes air brake endorsement

Moreover you are able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required

Knowledgeable in compressed gases and safe handling

Your strong mechanical aptitude sets you apart and you are able to lift up to 60 pounds

Trained in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $46,000.
