Responsibilities:
Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions. Support community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
Assist in training and developing team members, leading by example, and providing coaching and support to ensure team success.
Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs, providing personalized styling recommendations, and contributing to achieving sales targets.
Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill’s products to support customers in making confident purchasing decisions.
Assist with store operations, including opening and closing store, manager on duty, visual merchandising, floor sets, inventory management, and adherence to company policies.
Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, proactively address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and support leadership in maintaining a meaningful customer experience.
Navigate various communication settings across different levels of the organization, adjusting messaging to fit diverse audiences.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.

Qualifications:
1+ years of retail experience, preferably in women’s specialty retail or a strong sales, customer-obsessed environment.
Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
Strong ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
Proven track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling and maneuvering around store, hang/fold merchandise, ladder climbing, operate POS registers and other company mobile devices, occasionally operate trash compactor (where applicable), occasionally use a hand truck, lift and carry up to 30lbs, and ability to joint/team lift.
