Accountant/Bookkeeper

Duties

Perform bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping to ensure precise financial records.

Reconcile accounts such as the general ledger, balance sheets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Manage payroll processing using systems like ADP or Paychex, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments.

Prepare financial statements.

Oversee compliance and reporting for sales tax and payroll tax.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and QBO.

Experience with payroll management systems like Paychex or ADP.

Ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting efficiently.

Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits and credits, journal entries and account analysis.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
