Mimi’s on Lincoln is seeking a full-time Cafe Operations Manager to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both front-of-house service and behind-the-scenes operations. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive individual who can help support daily café operations while working alongside the team on the floor.

This position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional looking to grow with a company that has ambitious plans for expansion and long-term development.

What You’ll Do

Service & Hospitality

Work regular barista and front-of-house shifts

Lead by example during busy service periods

Deliver exceptional guest experiences

Support and mentor team members

Assist with training and onboarding

Operations & Organization

Manage inventory and assist with restaurant ordering

Receive and organize deliveries

Maintain clean, organized storage and workspaces

Organize staff files, operational records, and business documents

Input and maintain invoices and administrative paperwork

Help create and maintain systems that improve efficiency

Events & Community Programming

Assist with planning and executing private events

Coordinate event logistics and preparation

Help manage community programming and special events

Support event setup, service, and breakdown

Leadership

Serve as a key operational support person for ownership

Help ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence throughout the business

Identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows

Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

Qualifications

2+ years of hospitality, restaurant, café, or coffee industry experience

Previous leadership or management experience preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Comfortable working both on the floor and in administrative tasks

Full-time availability, including some weekends and special events

Compensation & Benefits

$45,000–$50,000 annual salary based on experience

Participation in the tip pool while working service shifts

Training & Evaluation Period

The position includes a 6-week paid training and evaluation period to ensure the role is a strong fit for both the candidate and the company. During this time, you will learn our systems, standards, and culture while working closely with ownership and the team.
