About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is the front end of Commercial Vehicle Group’s (CVG) hiring engine. This role is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying talent to build active and evergreen candidate pipelines that feed our open and anticipated requisitions. Working in close partnership with recruiters, hiring managers, and the TA Coordinator, the Sourcer ensures a steady flow of qualified, screened candidates and a smooth hand-off into the coordination and interview workflow. This is a high-activity, pipeline-focused role ideal for someone who thrives on research, outreach, and relationship-building in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for assigned open requisitions, including conducting initial screening via email and phone to assess qualifications, interest, and fit.

Develop and nurture evergreen candidate pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles across North America, maintaining ongoing engagement with passive talent.

Move qualified, screened candidates into the TA Coordinator workflow with complete and accurate documentation to enable seamless scheduling and assessment.

Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, target candidate profiles, and sourcing priorities.

Utilize a range of sourcing channels and techniques — LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, social media, employee referrals, industry networks, and the ATS candidate database — to identify both active and passive talent.

Gather and analyze labor-market data to inform sourcing strategy, advise on realistic candidate profiles, and identify talent pools in relevant geographies.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Serve as an early brand ambassador for CVG, delivering a positive and professional candidate experience from first contact.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of sourcing, recruiting, or talent research experience, preferably in a high-volume or in-house corporate environment.

Sourcing experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or other technical/skilled-trades sectors.

Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Sourcing experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or other technical/skilled-trades sectors.

Recruiting or sourcing certification (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional – Recruiter, SHRM-CP).

Demonstrated experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Boolean/X-ray search techniques to identify candidates.

Experience sourcing across multiple North American locations or multi-site environments.

Familiarity with applicable employment laws and regulations governing recruitment and compliance.
