We are seeking our next great PCB designer to join our team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of assigned lighting electronics related projects. This individual will be joining a well-established team that is helping to move both the ICE and electric vehicle market forward.
YOUR TASKS
Design PCB/PCA packages for Automotive market.
Coordinate design activities, with several groups and within the Lighting Electronics team.
Manage multiple activities and meetings, coordination for requirements, schedules and reviews.
Work with mechanical, optics, systems and software teams.
Prepare fabrication documentation including the upload to SAP, MPE systems.
Lead technical discussions multiple teams, to comply with multiple standards.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years PCB design experience including advanced fundamental electrical design knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent by combination of education and years of experience.
Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design.
Advanced knowledge on PCB/PCBA Design software (Cadence or Expedition).
Signal integrity knowledge (EMC, Radiated emissions and radio frequency immunity).
Proficient English level.
Ability to work with multifunctional teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience working with PCB fabrication shops (at least for prototypes).
Demonstrated skills and knowledge on ICT test processes.
Knowledge of PCA assembly processes.
Previous experience designing Printed circuit boards for automotive market.
Willing to work on challenges and intense problem-solving situations related to area constraints, challenging routing solutions, and complying with strict design automotive standards.
Capable to follow well defined procedures and documentation activities.
