Platform Engineer (Fintech)

Mission:

As a Platform Engineer, your mission will be to build and evolve the infrastructure, tooling, and operational foundations that enable engineering teams to deliver faster, safer, and more reliably.

You will play a key role in creating a scalable platform that empowers developers, supports business growth, and establishes engineering best practices across the organization.

This is a high-impact role with significant ownership and visibility across the company.

The Role:

You will be part of a cross-functional Platform Team responsible for the shared services used across the entire engineering organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.

Driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.

Enhancing observability, monitoring, logging, and reliability practices.

Supporting the evolution of an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

Collaborating with Data and AI teams on DataOps and MLOps initiatives.

Improving security, compliance, and operational resilience across systems.

Developing shared platform services and internal tooling used by multiple teams.

Acting as a technical partner for Product, Engineering, and Data stakeholders.

Promoting DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering best practices across the organization.

What we need:

5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or related roles.

Strong experience working with AWS and cloud-native environments.

Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, security, and distributed systems.

Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with Terraform, CDK, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.

Experience with monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering.

Strong scripting or programming skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Experience working with APIs and microservices architectures.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

A mindset focused on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other high-growth technology environments.

Exposure to DataOps, MLOps, AI infrastructure, or Machine Learning platforms.

Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications.

Experience building Internal Developer Platforms or developer productivity tooling.

Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
