Talent Manager
Reporting to: Director of People & Culture
Responsible for shaping and executing our talent strategy, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent to support the company’s growth and success. You will lead the end-to-end recruitment process, support the implementation of employee development programs, and work closely with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Talent Manager will play a critical role in succession planning and workforce strategy.
Role responsibilities
Manage the talent acquisition strategy across all regions, collaborating with business partners to ensure recruitment is aligned with regional workforce needs.
Develops a recruitment strategy that meets both short-term and long-term goals for each region.
Lead workforce planning initiatives by partnering with senior leadership and department heads to understand future hiring requirements.
Drive diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts, ensuring that talent acquisition strategies attract a wide pool of diverse candidates.
Implement and maintain efficient recruitment processes that minimise time-to-fill and cost-per-hire while maintaining high-quality candidate selection
Develop and execute strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand and position it as an employer of choice.
Leverage a variety of sourcing channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment events to attract top talent.
Build and maintain relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and other external partners to increase talent pool access.
Align talent development initiatives with key business priorities, identifying critical skills and competencies required for both current and future workforce needs.
Facilitate career progression pathways and ensure that talent development opportunities align with employees’ aspirations and organisational needs.
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms, ensuring that they are utilised effectively for program delivery and tracking.
Qualifications and Skills – Essential
Experience managing a Talent Acquisition team
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Proven experience managing multiple projects
Strong collaborator with an emphasis on contributing to an inclusive culture
Qualifications and Skills – Desirable
Experience of working in the education or service sectors
Experience in Talent Management including team mapping
Early careers experience would be advantageous
