Reporting to: Account Manager & Account Director

Salary on offer: Salary will be discussed on a pre-screening call

Location/ Office address: Bromley

WFH/ Office/ Remote: Hybrid: 2 days Orpington office, 1 day in London office, 2 days at home (occasional travel to clients in London)

Working hours: 9:00 - 5:30

Start date: Immediate

PT/ FT: Full time

The role:

The role sits within their Brand Experience Division, working on a Supermarket brand to deliver multiple experiences up and down the country. You will support the planning of these brand experiences, working with the Account Manager and Account Director. You will be involved in the project planning from start to finish, onsite activation and event management, budgeting, feasibility and administration. You will take part in brainstorms, be creative and share ideas, calling on any industry knowledge, be able to support in creating presentations.

Specific responsibilities

Ensure that work produced meets all objectives set, is done by the agreed time to the highest standard and achieves the best possible results for the company and client

Assist in the development of creative ideas, undertaking research as requested to ensure they are possible to implement within specific parameters and budget

Be involved in the research and feasibility of ideas generated

Supporting all operational and administrative functions to ensure each event is delivered efficiently

Assistance with financial elements of accounts – budgeting, PO’s, supplier invoicing/cost management

Oversee the sourcing, purchase and management of suppliers, quotes and detailed information

Project Management: ensuring project systems and procedures are setup and structured correctly, ensuring all relevant data is entered concisely onto their client management system (Quest)

Compiling and writing client responses and presentations

Efficient meeting management, preparation and write up of notes and actions

Management of artwork requests and sign off

Co-ordinate and manage staff and contractors on site for the delivery of projects

Maintaining good communication and reporting

Compiling and maintaining project reports, job sheets and schedules

Managing supplier relationships

Thorough and concise event reporting and management of data capture

Responsibility for creation of risk assessments and method statements

Essential attributes of successful candidate – role related

Ability to juggle several tasks at once and consistently deliver high-quality work to tight timescales

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers

Ability to think around issues by providing solutions, not problems!

A high proficiency in numeracy and literacy

Prioritisation and time management skills

Ability to meet challenges and quickly deliver workable solutions in demanding environments

Calm under pressure

Clean driving licence

Acceptance of some anti-social/long hours

Essential ‘personal’ qualities

Ability to take responsibility for your own work

Confidence and strength of character

Flexibility - willingness to pick up tasks for others

Quick to learn, and keen to develop

Ability to fit into the character of the company whilst still bringing individuality

Technical skills and Knowledge/Experience

Experience within a similar role [agency-based] is preferred

Experience of event management and onsite activation exposure

Knowledge and capability to use MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook
