Job Summary
Falcon Design and Construction, LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects throughout Central Florida during overnight (3rd shift) operations. This key leadership position is responsible for directing all on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, strong plan-reading skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing residential, commercial, renovation, and tenant improvement projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate multiple trades, communicate with stakeholders, and drive project success in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all overnight (3rd shift) construction operations and job site activities
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel
Read, interpret, and execute construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
Review project drawings and specifications to verify scope, sequencing, and constructability
Maintain and monitor project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
Conduct daily site inspections for quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking
Enforce OSHA standards, company safety policies, and site-specific safety requirements
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment utilization, and workforce allocation
Manage project budgets by monitoring labor productivity and material usage
Communicate project status, challenges, and schedule updates with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and ownership representatives
Identify and resolve field issues to maintain project momentum and minimize delays
Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and production records
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of construction experience
Previous experience as a Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, General Superintendent, or similar supervisory role (required)
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications (required)
Strong knowledge of commercial, residential, renovation, and tenant improvement construction practices (required)
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously (required)
Strong understanding of construction scheduling and project coordination (required)
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety best practices (required)
Excellent leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills (required)
Ability to work full-time overnight/3rd shift hours (required)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
Ability to travel between job sites throughout Central Florida (required)
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certification
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software
Experience with occupied-space renovations, amusement, hospitality, retail, or commercial construction projects
Familiarity with project cost tracking, change order management, and schedule development
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Schedule
Primarily 3rd Shift / Overnight Hours
Additional hours or weekend work may be required based on project schedules

Multiple job sites throughout Central Florida
