About the role
Position Summary
We are seeking an 8 plus years experienced Senior Quality Engineer / QA Lead with strong expertise in retail systems, POS ( Point of Sale). The ideal candidate will lead quality engineering initiatives, drive test automation efforts, and collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage testing and quality engineering activities across multiple projects.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts.
Collaborate with Product, Development, Business, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements.
Automate regression test suites and enhance testing efficiency.
Build and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business stakeholders.
Serve as the QA Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide guidance on testing best practices.
Maintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects.
Identify, document, and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of overall experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
Experience testing REST APIs and web services.
Mobile application testing experience is required.
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience working with business, product, development, and operations teams.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Database testing and SQL querying experience.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong test automation experience preferred.
Experience in mobile test automation using XCUITest (XCUI).
POS (Point of Sale) application testing experience preferred.
Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks for iOS applications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience leading QA initiatives for enterprise retail applications.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
