Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. The employer will accept a 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree.

Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Manager, Project Manager, Senior Software Developer, or a related occupation

Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

Java;

functional and reactive programming;

SQL Server;

Sybase;

Informatica;

DB2;

MongoDB;

Spring Containers (with Spring Boot) for enterprise applications;

building data-intensive / real time applications;

scaling of applications including:

multithreading,

performance,

maintainability,

robustness;

XML;

JSON;

SOAP

REST Services

developing REST APIs using Spring Boot (reactive)

Open API

backend web development technology including:

APIs

asynchronous messaging

cloud computing.

Python/Shell scripting

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
