About the role

The Systems Analyst supports day-to-day operational systems by translating business needs into functional system solutions and ensuring applications run reliably and efficiently.

This role works closely with Operations and IT teams to gather requirements, document processes, coordinate system enhancements, execute testing, and resolve incidents. The position plays a key role in maintaining system stability while driving continuous improvements and automation initiatives that enhance productivity, service levels, and overall operational performance.

What You Need to Know

Solid understanding of operational processes and how systems support day-to-day business activities

Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements, process flows, and system specifications

Familiarity with system enhancements, configurations, testing (UAT/SIT), and release support

Ability to analyze operational data and identify improvement or automation opportunities

Understanding of integrations between systems and data flows

Experience coordinating with IT teams, developers, and third-party vendors

Knowledge of change management and production support best practices

Strong documentation, organization, and follow-up skills to ensure timely delivery

Ability to work in fast-paced environments supporting multiple priorities simultaneously

System Testing & Implementation Support. Experience with SIT/UAT, test cases, defect tracking, and release support

Production Support & Incident Management. Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of system issues

System Configuration & Enhancements. Supports minor changes, improvements, and coordination with development teams

Data Analysis & Reporting. Uses operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination. Works effectively with internal IT teams and third-party providers to deliver solutions

Continuous Improvement & Automation. Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate manual tasks
