Eaton’s IS VEH VGSA division is currently seeking a Gerente de Materiais (SCM).
What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The position scope covers:
Materials planning (local and international)
Inventory management
Customer attendance/relationship (OEM, Aftermarket and Intercompany) management
Internal and external logistics management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Lead SIOP process (customer demand, strategy definition, capacity management, results and plans management).
B. Develop profit plan (Inventory $’s and DOH, Cost Out, Supplier OTD, Customer OTD, Sales, freight).
C. Develops a core set of metrics for Materials management and assure goals achievement thru leading and lagging metrics aligned with Profit and Strategic Plan Goals.
D. Drives site to Model Plant (Best Practice) disciplines in all facets of Materials Management
E. Ensure Materials management related roles competencies, processes execution and organizational capability
F. Leads the prescribed use and improvement of the site/division ERP system.
G. Lead materials management assessment (MMA) and OpA assessments as well as owning the materials management related actions plans to close any reported OFI’s.
H. Uses continuous improvement framework activities like lean/vsm or six sigma initiatives to drive continued stability and robust/repeatable standard process.
I. Drive Customer service attendance to leverage satisfaction and assure customer centricity.

Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications:
Bachelor degree preferrably in Engineering, Administration or related areas
Extensive experience in supply chain. logistics or material planning
Having consistent knowledge of production planning, logistics
Effective communication with all levels, leadership skill & management roles
Knowledge of ERP Systems.
Must have strong analytical skills
Ability to manage employees effectively and to forge strong relationships at all levels in organization
Strong team player
Customer/supplier interaction in a highly demanding environment
Previous experience as a manager of people.
Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge
Import-export knowledge
Experience in other areas like Lean/Six Sigma, program management would be an added advantage
Bachelor degree in supply chain management or advanced degree in business or supply chain management.
SIOP experience.
Demonstrated experience leading cost out activities.
