Management Accountant

We currently have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial insights that support informed decision‑making across our support functions. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Support Accounting, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Supporting accounting activities across Support functions, including Finance, Strategy & Growth, Zero Harm, People & Culture, and Commercial & Risk.

Assisting with monthly P&L reporting, accrual reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Partnering with functional leaders as a trusted point of contact for accounting support and analysis.

Processing purchase orders and invoices, and supporting statutory obligations such as FBT and GST data collection.

Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to quality and efficiency initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

CA/CPA qualification, or currently working towards certification, with solid professional accounting experience.

Proven experience in management accounting, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality outputs.

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, and OneStream, alongside advanced Excel skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative, trusted relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

A positive, proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership while contributing meaningfully as part of a supportive team.
