Working closely with the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant is responsible for;
completing management and statutory reporting activities for TCorp’s Investments Division;
ensuring the process for valuation of listed and unlisted assets fall within policy;
working with the outsourced fund administrator, and
ensuring accurate reporting and review of statutory financial statements for multiple investment funds.
In addition, this newly created role will require knowledge of financial instruments, investment trusts, financial reporting and financial accounting practices to identify breakdowns in processes, systems and procedures.
About You
You will be degree qualified in Business / Finance (or similar) with a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA), and a minimum of three to five years relevant experience. Demonstrated exposure to financial markets and financial instruments, either through a Chartered, corporate treasury or financial services environment, and competency in relevant computer applications, and strong Excel skills are essential.
