- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department (ED) - Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of care - Respond to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening conditions - Interpret labs, diagnostics, and patient symptoms - Communicate patient status with physicians and interdisciplinary teams - Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments - Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions - Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety standards - Report suspected abuse/neglect per regulatory requirements - Maintain accurate, timely documentation
