Job Overview

We are seeking a full time Dealer Development Manager to lead the expansion of the HURMAR dealer network throughout California.

This role is focused on recruiting, developing, and supporting HURMAR dealers. As one of the first team members in our U.S. expansion, you will play a key role in establishing HURMAR as a leading premium aluminum-wood closet system brand in the North American market.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and passionate about business development. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, increasing brand awareness, securing showroom displays, and driving long-term dealer growth.

Key Responsibilities

1, Dealer Recruitment

Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified dealers throughout California.

2, Market Development

Develop and execute regional growth strategies to HURMAR's market presence. Build relationships with industry professionals including designers, builders, contractors, architects, and developers.

3, Showroom Development & Dealer Launch Support

Support newly on boarded dealers in planning, developing, and launching HURMAR showroom displays. Work closely with dealers throughout the entire showroom setup process, including display planning, product selection, merchandising, installation coordination, and showroom presentation. Ensure each dealer showroom effectively represents the HURMAR brand and provides an exceptional customer experience.

4, Dealer Training & Support

Provide product training, sales support, and business development guidance to dealers. Ensure dealers fully understand HURMAR's products, positioning, and competitive advantages.

5, Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, dealer feedback, and industry developments. Provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

6, Reporting & CRM Management

Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, dealer development progress, customer meetings, and sales opportunities. Provide regular reports on territory performance and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in dealer development, channel sales, business development, account management, or related roles.

Experience in the closet, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, building materials, architectural products, furniture, or home improvement industries is highly preferred.

Existing relationships with cabinet dealers, closet companies, showroom operators, builders, designers, contractors, or distributors are a strong advantage.

Proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage dealer networks, channel partners, or strategic business relationships.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Highly organized with strong project management and follow-up abilities.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with a strong desire to contribute to a growing brand.

Ability to manage multiple dealer development projects simultaneously, including recruitment, onboarding, showroom development, training, and ongoing support.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and standard business software.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
