Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory. This role involves traveling to meet clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable products or services to fulfill those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify potential clients through various means such as networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.
Client Meetings and Presentations:
Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and present appropriate products or services.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Provide feedback to the company regarding market trends, competitive activities, and product/service requirements.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including pipeline status, forecasts, and territory analysis.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong presentation skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
Ability to carry sales materials and product samples.
Work Environment:
This role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory.
The Outside Sales Representative will work from a home office and on the road, meeting clients at their locations.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
